Diving for Fossils
The Carolinas are known for many things but, for divers, it is well known as a hot spot for finding prehistoric Megalodon teeth. The Megalodon shark, meaning “big tooth”, is regarded as one of the largest and most powerful predators to have ever lived.
Join us as Marilou Maglione, Daniel Kaufman, and Dawn Brown share their experiences of hunting for Megalodon teeth on the Atlantic ledges off NC and in the Cooper River of SC.
IN-PERSON MEETINGS ARE BACK WITH A NEW LOCATION! Meet us at Three Notch’d Craft Kitchen & Brewery, located in IX Art Park (520 2nd St SE, Charlottesville). We will continue offering remote access to the meeting as well. To join, all you need is a computer or mobile phone. It’s sure to be a night full of food, drink and fun. Hope to see you there!
