Michael T. Murphy      

          Michael Murphy is currently the National Outreach Coordinator for the National Marine Sanctuary Program, part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).  He has worked for NOAA for the last ten years to help bridge the communication gap between the public, scientists and policy makers. 

         Mike received his Masters of Science in Marine Resource Management from Oregon State University and Bachelors of Science in Aquatic Biology from the University of California at Santa Barbara.  In his spare time, Mike loves to fish, dive, travel, and explore the outdoors.

         Mike's presentation is entitled "National Marine Sanctuaries - Diving's Best Kept Secret"
